2027 Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Unfortunately and after almost 30 years Mercedes-Benz decided to axe its smaller model, the A-Class. The first generation was presented in 1997 as a premium supermini and since 2012 it transformed into a premium hatchback, in the same category with Audi A3 & BMW 1 Series. The model's production is planned to stop later this year, but at the same time the new generation of the CLA 4-door coupe now exists.
The 2 previous generations of CLA were based on the same platform as the A-Class, so I had the idea to create a new A-Class out of the all-new CLA. I thought that it would be a lot of work for me, but all I needed to do was just to shorten the wheelbase of the CLA's shooting brake version and modify the side windows, to make it look like a hatchback. Do you like the result?
